Establishment – II
Service Matters of Non-Teaching employees (Group A, B & C), other than Faculty & Other Academic Staff, Seniority Lists, convening of meetings of DPC for promotions and Screening Committee for award of financial upgradations under MACPS. Monitoring the engagement and rationalization of manpower i.e Outsourcing staff including under IoE.
Recruitment, EC & Legal Cell
Direct recruitment of teaching, other academic staff, non-teaching staff and Consultants and other related matters. Promotions to faculty and other academic staff under UGC-CAS. Convening meetings of Executive Council and Court. Obtaining legal opinion from Legal Counsels and handling court cases.
Reservation & Coordination Cell
Matters related to implementation of reservation policies in respect of SC/ST/OBC/PWD/EWS, APARs of all Non-Teaching employees (Group A, B & C); Verification elections to non-teaching employees’ bodies, Collation and furnishing of various information to UGC/Ministry of Education and other agencies, Updating of CU Portal & AISHE portal etc.
Estate, Transport, Communication, RTI/CPGRAMS
Maintenance of University Land Records, Buildings and Auditoriums in coordination with UWD, Allotment of office and residential accommodation, shops, canteens and collection of rents and other related activities.
Procurement & Maintenance of vehicles, running of mini-buses for internal trips.
Maintenance of intercom and direct telephones.
Processing of RTI / CPGRAMS queries, submission of reports and maintenance of record of RTI applications and public grievances etc.
Horticulture, Sanitation, Guest House
Maintenance of gardens, parks and other open places for beautification of the Campus.
Providing housekeeping services to all buildings of Schools / Departments, Hostels, other buildings, roads and open places.
Upkeep and allotment of rooms of the Lakeview Guest House.
Security
Providing security to all Buildings and campus in the University, inspecting and patrolling campus premises regularly. Monitoring surveillance cameras and reporting suspicious behavior. Interact with local police, fire departments, and emergency medical personnel. Manning of the gates of the campus and restricting public access and ensuring the security of campus community and visitors.
Central Procurement Unit (CPU)
Procurement of all the goods, supplies and services needed to the units of the administration in accordance with University purchase policy and procedures, Inviting and processing tenders for procurement of goods, supplies and services.
Public Relations Office
Deals with Press Releases, Press Meets, Press Notes, Press Communique, Release of Advertisements, Distinguished Lecture Series, University Online Bilingual Newsletter (UoH Herald), Hyderabad Lecture Series, Preparation and publication of Annual Report, Printing of University Calendar, Campus Concert Series, Social Media Management, Subscriptions to AIU/ACU/IAU.
Hindi Cell
Supports in implementation of the Official Language Policy of the Union. Organizes Hindi workshops and training programs, Hindi Day etc. Provide translation from English to Hindi and vice-versa to the units of administration, especially the Annual Report, Annual Accounts and the online Newsletter of the University. Conducting of the Official Language Implementation Committee (OLIC) meetings periodically
Internal Audit Office
Develop internal audit scope and audit plans. Acquire, analyze and evaluate accounting documentation. Act as an objective source of independent advice to ensure validity and legality. Pre-check and post-check of all procurement proposals, proposals which have financial implications and tender advice as per requirement of the administration. Member of purchase committee and DPC/Screening Committee for MACPS etc.
Research & Development Cell
Forwarding the research proposals received from faculty of all Schools/ Departments/Centres of the University to various National and International funding agencies; Forwarding proposals for organizing Seminars/ Conferences/Workshops/Training Programmes, Industry consultancy projects/services, to examine and sign all MoUs/MoAs.
